I just want to verify before I bake, that is not a misprint in the cupcake recipe, seems like a lot of sugar. 1 3/4 cups regular sugar and 1 lb confectionery sugar. How many cupcakes does it make? They look delicious but my mouth hurts thinking of how sweet they are going to be. I think I will wait for your response before I make them just to be sure :-)

Tracy: I'm not sure how to contact you, so I hope you check back. Thank you so much for catching the miss print. I don't know what I was thinking! I used this base for all three of the cupcakes pictured, and one had buttercream frosting... maybe that is where I threw the powered sugar in! I edited the recipe to reflect. Happy Baking! Let me know how you like them! :)
