school bus!

durham is obsessed with school buses right now! everyday when it's time for the kids to come home in our neighborhood we open our front door and let d watch the school buses go by. he loves it! he shouts 'kool ba' when we are driving down the road and he sees one, if he hears the breaks squealing he will yell it and come running. obsessed.

today I took him to the high school where they keep all the school buses for summer maintenance. the gate was unlocked. and a bus just happened to be open. he climbed right up and had a blast exploring. I'm pretty sure it was his best day ever.

the pool is open

we are celebrating the hub's birthday this weekend. tuesday he turns 31! whoot! we had such a great time swimming and cooking out with friends at the pool today. there was a storm that rolled in that forced us inside, but we made the best of it. so thankful for these friends to spend the afternoon with us. looking forward to a summer full of swimming!
