Oh. crap.

Yeah. Ya see that pink line of death. That is my blog telling me that I have been lazy long enough. In order to continue my blog reading habit, I must find and delete the old forgotten blogs in my reader. I am such a lazy blog keeper. I never delete old links or people who have long forgotten about their blogs. I just leave them in there. until now... sad face.

excuse me while I spend the rest of the night figuring out who is active and interesting.

If you are a new follower or a lurker, I'd love to add your blog to my list too!
Just leave me a note so I can pop over! :)

Groundhog Day Cupcakes

Yall know I do not need a holiday to make cupcakes....
but when I saw these cuties on family fun I had to give them my own spin!

I did a cinnamon spice cupcake, with a vanilla buttercream frosting and a crushed almond topping. The groundhogs are almond joy candy bars (don't get the mini ones, there are 2 in a regular candy bar) the eyes I got at Michaels,  the ears and cheeks are mini m&ms and the tooth is a dab of melted white chocolate.

I hope some of you have time to make these for Wednesday! They are super easy. Assemble the groundhog and then just stick him in the cupcake. If you can't make it to Michaels for the eyes, white chocolate with a dot of brown in the middle would have the same effect. Enjoy!

Happy Groundhog Day!
I don't know about yall, but I am praying for Spring to get here! Fast!

Weekend Wrapup

It was a beautiful weekend in Atlanta!
can I get a whoop-whoop for temps above 60*?

I worked most of the weekend away while friends climbed Stone Mountain and the hubs played golf... but I did manage to sneak in a few other fun things.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Friday night we went to a Murder Mystery dinner with some friends. It was a riot! We had such a good time, and always cherish the time we get to spend with them. We even followed it up with hot fudge sundays.... it's no yogurt tap, but it was yummy in my tummy!

Kelly (check out her awesome home improvement/crafty blog here) and I have been going back and forth about doing some crafts so she came over on Saturday morning and we did some cute stuff! We also made cupcakes, I'll be sharing those later! After a full morning of crafting and thrifting at a local antique market, I headed to work.

Sometime Saturday I pulled a muscle in my back and I've been milking it in so much pain ever since then. Finally made it to the doctor today and got some fantastic meds and I should be good as new in no time!

Hope you all had a great weekend....
I have the CUTEST cupcakes to share tomorrow!

ps. if anyone knows what the heck made my etching all camouflage.... please let me know! shanks.
