What we've been up to...

I feel like a bad blogger....

things have just been really (good) busy around here.

here are the past 5 days... in no particular order.

The man reason our weekend rocked... was that Jeb & Steph were getting married.

We had lots of friends in town and one particularly sweet couple staying with us.

The wedding was beautiful, and the after party was a lot of fun!

We hit up a braves game...

I spent an hour wandering around this little place we call "cupcake heaven"

I stood in line in a sketchy package store to pick this up....

and have yet to make time to install it. But I'm super excited!

Carly & I made lots of yummy treats for our UGA football game.

this was his first time around kids and he did awesome!

they said "can Cole-Cole come home with us? Yall can have Jules!"

Lunch with these beautiful ladies.

My 6-week photography class started last night.

There are about 20 people, half cannon and half nikon.

We learned basics last night...

white balance

I know I am going to learn alot...

Been a busy busy girl!
But, I can't wait to show you all the cool stuff we did over the weekend.

you know how it goes for me

holiday weekend = work

but we still managed to spend some time with family and friends

Friday

Mom was making 75 cupcakes for a baby shower at her church

 so SIL and I went over to help watch and talk gossip.

Saturday

we ate these cupcakes and got game updates on our break

Sunday

After work the hubs and I met his family at Salem Baptist Church

for their annual Labor Day fireworks.

We ate KFC on blankets and spent some time with our nieces and nephew.

Had a blast!

This is the line we waited in for funnel cake....

and right before we got there...

they ran out. boooooo.

{but granny's brownies were even better than funnel cake!}

Monday

the hubs and I had breakfast at

then we piddled around the house and yard getting it ready for our

big end of summer BBQ.

I had sent out these invitations a while back

Josh & Jada came over early and Walker & Cole met for the first time...

our dog is a total sissy!

and then we par-tay'd

BFF did the SMORE bar.... super cute!

When everyone left the hubs and I spent some quiet time holding hands

and rocking to the sound of the fire.. it was a wonderful weekend.

We Heart SEC FOOTBALL {and cupcakes}

This weekend marks the start of college football season...

{we are real big UGA fans}

I made the vanilla cupcakes the same way we made the rainbow ones...but with greens.

this was my first time to use the grass tip #233... it was a PITA...
