tomorrow

today I pulled out my big camera.
gave d some cookies.
and turned on dinosaur train.

I wanted to watch him eating. I wanted to watch the way his tongue moved. the way it looked with that little crease on the end. I wanted pictures of it. documentation of how he was made. he was made just like his daddy. a connected tongue frenulum. because of the severity of durham's connection he is completely tongue-tied. Our pediatric ent mentioned that it was one of the 'tightest' cases she has ever seen. Tomorrow our baby will undergo a surgery to disconnect the underpart of his tongue from the bottom of his mouth.

We know it's common, and that he is in great hands.
but, we are parents. and parents worry.
