I picked up these ADORABLE blue plastic egg cartons from Michaels about a week ago...
they are the perfect size for mini cupcakes.
I'm headed back to get any more they may have.
love them for spring, and love them for Easter

I'll have to look for these too! These will be great for me b/c my problem is that I never have anything to put the cupcakes in!

id like to know if they are hard to grab out of the carton? it seems like you'd get frosting all over your fingers
I had to comment as you have saved me so much time and effort, I have to take 30+ mini Easter inspired cupcakes about 300 miles on Monday and I had resorted to the prospect of making some sort of box to take them, after hours of trawling the net looking for a pattern I came across this post, I have a box of 30 eggs in my kitchen (I bake a lot) and they will fit perfectly! Not quite as cute as your version but it will do the trick. Thank you for sharing!
