I'm putting myself on front street...

I was a really good fiance for the past 11 months...really. Ever since we got engaged I have been good about balancing my full time job, my household responsibilities, my "wifey" responsibilities, and the wedding planning. That is, until 2 weeks ago.

I am not making excuses when I say that we are 18 days out from the wedding... and we have had 3 fantastic wedding showers in the past 2 weeks. I am not making excuses when I say that I have a 3 hour commute, I'm trying to work out and have way too much on my plate with all the DIYs I want to finish. OK. Whatever the reason... this is what happened.



This room was once our guest room... now it is over run with wedding propaganda. I spent some time in there today after FH got a little pissy about steeping over wedding presents and 1/2 finished DIYs to iron his shirt for work.



Cut me some slack... it looks much better and we are about to throw a wedding! I can't possibly get all of that stuff out of there! All my bins are now labeled and packed ready for the car! That makes me so happy!



For now... I think we will still keep the door to that room closed! :)

Amazing Shower Weekend!!

What an awesome weekend we had! We feel so blessed to have such amazing friends and family around us during this special time. {so blessed that sometimes it is overwhelming!}

This weekend we had 2 showers... one hosted by FH's Aunt Linda for his side of the family and one hosted by MOH & BM-K. Both were so special and so full of love. Every detail just made me beam. So proud to be getting into this awesome family ... so proud to be starting my life with this man!

Too many projects... to little posts...

Sorry I've been MIA for the past 10 days... I'm feeling the wedding pressure and trying to stay sane! :) We are about 4 weeks away from the wedding and with most of the big projects done we are having showers and partys every weekend till the big day! :)

I spent some time with my parents, SIL and MOH today wrapping up a couple of paper projects...
