Muffin-Top Monday! {Week 6}

Why is it that I do really good on a "new eating plan" for a few days, but when I eat one bad thing I totally fall off the wagon and binge? The hubs can eat one cookie and stop. cold. go on making good choices for the next snack or meal. not me. binge. binge. binge. ugh.

Anyway... I did good last week. Really good. probably too good if you ask the bestie (really ra, I'm PMSing... my attitude had nothing to do with not eating!) ha. Similar plan this week. Protein shakes will replace most meals, and dinner every night with be a healthy option. snacking on veggies/fruits.

The good news is... I felt kinda cute in my Easter dress. Not skinny, or super confident. But, cute. Small victories.

Happy Easter!

It was our first married Easter!
(I'll be sad when all of our "first" things are used up)

Cole really wanted to go to church too!

We hope each and everyone of you were touched by God today...
in your own way, on your own time, on a very personal level.

Be On Purpose

I have a leadership devotional {by John Maxwell} that I am almost finished with.
(If you have one that you are thrilled with, please pass the suggestion along)

Today’s entry was great...
and I know that many of my co-workers and blog readers will appreciate this.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

"Nothing in life can take the place of knowing your purpose. If you don't try to discover your purpose, you're likely to spend your life doing the wrong things. I believe that God created every person for a purpose. Our responsibility - and our joy - is to identify it.

Here are some questions to ask yourself to help you identify your purpose:

For what am i searching? All of us have a strong desire set in our hearts, something that speaks to our deepest thoughts and feelings, something that sets out souls on fire.

Why was I created? Think about the unique mix of abilities you have, the resources available to you, your won personal history, and the opportunities around you.

Do I believe in my potential? No one can consistently set in a manner inconsistent with the way he sees himself."

I go on spurts of "purposeful living" where I am very aware of the decisions I am making... I needed this today. And I am so thankful for the direction and purpose in my life.

Muffin-Top Monday! {Week 5}

I haven’t posted "Muffin-Top Monday" in about 3 weeks...but, that doesn’t mean that I am not working hard at shedding the lbs. I'm down about 7lbs... and need to loose about 8 more to be where I want to be by May 1st. I'll update again in a few weeks!

Also, I have been working on some super cute inspiration crafts that I can't wait to share, and a baby gift. :)

p.s. I love V-8. I finally got the balls courage to try the "spicy" formula. Yum yum! :)
